Gary Cherone has revealed some particulars about his rekindled relationship with former bandmate Eddie Van Halen previous to his demise. Cherone took over Sammy Hagar‘s place because the frontman of Van Halen in 1996 and was part of the band for 3 years.
Throughout Cherone’s interview with SiriusXM’s “Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk” on Thursday (June 16), the vocalist shared that he rekindled his relationship with Eddie Van Halen on the finish of 2015/starting of 2016. “I reached out to him and we picked up the place we left off. It was wild, as a result of we went backwards and forwards and we talked. After which once I went out to L.A., I lastly bought to see him, and it was nice,” mentioned Cherone.
Whereas the singer visited Eddie Van Halen he was going by way of most cancers therapies on the time and mentioned, “I am kicking its ass.” In line with Cherone, “On the time he was.
