The eight-round bout will likely be his first struggle in 13 months, as he seeks to rebound from his first defeat, an eighth spherical stoppage to Jose Pedraza final June. The struggle towards an opponent to be decided will headline the 13-fight sophomore card promoted by Abella Boxing Promotions, which promoted its first present final April.
Rodriguez (21-1, 14 knockouts) of Hasbrouck Peak, N.J. will likely be combating for the primary time in his dwelling state since July of 2019.
